Want to try a cocktail that's a bit different this summer? This fantastic cocktail is a variation on the classic Moscow Mule recipe and gives it a very French twist!

The Normandy Mule is made using the same ingredients for the traditional Moscow Mule recipe (Angostura Bitters, lime juice, ginger beer and sugar syrup) but instead of vodka, substitutes Bénédictine - the world famous liqueur from Normandy in Northern France.
An inspired alternative to vodka, Bénédictine - with its complex and rich herbal tones - perfectly complements the tanginess of the lime, the spicy flavours of the ginger beer and the aromatic flavours of Angostura Bitters which also gives a hint of pink to the cocktail.
In-the-spirit loves this long drink cocktail recipe and its invigorating blend of spicy flavours - ideal for all occasions. But if you prefer slightly less of a spicy kick in your cocktail, reduce the number of drops of Angostura Bitters or leave it out entirely according to your preference.
