Liqueur

Actually, contrary to popular belief, the only almond Disaronno has ever seen is across the aisle at the supermarket. The almond flavour comes from the oil extracted from the seed inside an apricot pip, which although similar in taste to an almond it is actually part of the fruit, making it suitable for people with nut allergies. Seventeen different herbs and fruits are soaked in this fruity oil for a period of time, after which, the liquid is drained off and mixed with caramelised sugar and married with pure alcohol.

Deliciously sweet and fruity, with cherries and marzipan flavours. The flavour lingers temptingly on your lips afterwards - perhaps you know someone nice enough to offer to kiss it off for you?
